I'm trying to do some stills with baFluid but would really like to simplify things a bit. I don't need/want full fluid simulation and emFluid is getting too complex for what I want to do.
Is it possible to use the baFluid with just some simple settings like set color gradient with depth? _________________ WWII Aviation Art - Softimage Style! - www.actionart.ca
You have to create a 3D box of data cells. It would not be limited to a fluid sim, but currently there is no other solution to create one. And if you just want to render a gradient, why don't you just use the gradient instead of the fluid shader and pipe that into the volume renderer in XSI?
See the making sky video on my website, it is in section "example videos" _________________ Holger Schönberger
