Hello,
I would like to apply a volume shader on primitives. In the image section of this site at the bottom
there is an image with a blue cube and a blue sphere. Is there a way I could do that with xsi 2012?
I heard the term "primitive volume" in the forum but I can't find it in xsi.
If you want to have a sphere or a cube, then it is possible with some math nodes in Softimage.
You need the
Vector state (intersection point) -> vector coordinate conversion world to object -> subtract a second vector, which is the center of your sphere -> get length of vector -> multiply to set the radius -> gradient mixer. _________________ Holger Schönberger
