I'd appreciate it if someone could explain how to shade foam. Just like the foam in the production images of the binary alchemy website.
How can I achieve similar results? What shader is being used, and what is the setup? Is it mental ray or Arnold? etc.

You can enabled the bubble density in the particle_density shader in Softimage.
And increase the metaball slider a bit.
At last you need a highlight, but that is probably better to be created in a second pass with constant black instanced spheres. _________________ Holger Schönberger
